This page gives parents and carers updates on Esafety issues we identify in school. Please keep checking back regularly for updates.
Esafety at Lakeside Primary:
Pupils take part in regular Esafety lessons to ensure they understand how to keep themselves safe on the internet and when using technology.
We use Gooseberry Planet across school to support teaching our pupils how to stay safe online. For more information click here.
Esafety advice while pupils are at home during the Coronavirus lockdown:
This page contains lots of regularly updated advice on keeping you children safe while they are at home.
Filtering our school internet connection:
To keep our children safe when using the internet in school, we have a filter in place that screens and blocks potentially harmful content. It's called Studysafe and uses black lists from the Internet Watch Foundation and the Home Office amongst others to provide robust online safeguarding.
