We have TWO CHOIRS at LAKESIDE!

Our LAKESIDE PRIMARY ACADEMY RAINBOW CONNECTIONS and SING OUT choirs are vital links in "KEEPING MUSIC ALIVE at LAKESIDE"!

RAINBOW CONNECTIONS CHOIR

Following a very successful and busy year last year, we are delighted that we now have 46 Key Stage 2 pupils in our choir aged between 7 and 11. We love singing together!

We will be taking part in a very exciting event:

The Rainbow Connection "A Choral Christmas" at The Dome, Doncaster on 9th December 2026.

We will be singing our hearts out, singing "Never Ending Story", "Believer" and "Radio Ga Ga".

When do we rehearse?

On Thursday afternoons, we welcome Mr and Mrs Mellors, the Directors of RAINBOW CONNECTIONS choirs across Yorkshire, who are rehearsing the choir for the Christmas Concert.

We also have 6 pupils who are part of the ROSE LEARNING TRUST Choir. They rehearse monthly and have met so many new friends from schools all over Doncaster. We are really looking forward to their performances, and our Choir peformances, in the New Year.
