World Book Day

We've had a whole week of brilliant activities to celebrate World Book Day this year.  Our whole school text was the beautiful 'Leaf' by Sandra Deickmann which has inspired some fabulous artwork and writing.  We took part in a draw-along, creating some of the characters from this year's free WBD books, designed paper plate and loo roll story characters for a competition and dressed up as favourite characters. Of course, we also enjoyed lots of stories and reading for pleasure. Have a look at some of our photos.
