Our Grass growing experiment

Class 3AA have been investigating what grass needs to grow. First, we split a piece of turf in to 4 pieces. One piece we gave daily water and sunshine. One piece had sunshine but no water. One had just water and the last piece had nothing. After two weeks, we analysed the results. The children were not suprised to find that the grass that had sunshine and water grew healthy, green and long, but were suprised to find that the grass with only water also grew very well. Not suprisingly the grass the had only sunshine, and the grass that had nothing did not grow well at all - in fact, we decided that they felt brittle and looked dull. Here is a photo of us analysing the results. Keep up the super work class3AA :)
