Dissecting Owl pellets in Year 3/4

We have been learning all about owls in Year 3/4. As part of our research in to what owls eat,we dissected owl pellets and carefully examined the contents. We discovered bones, skulls, feathers, fluff, bills and claws! We were careful to follow our hygiene rules carefully and spent some time identifying what animals we thought the bones could have come from.
