Composer of the Half-Term Spring 1
It's time to introduce you to this half-term's Composer, Anna Meredith.
Anna Meredith is a musician and composer. She is extremely creative with rhythmical patterns that parts of our own bodies can make as they move in different ways.
Her piece called, "Connect It" is an exciting piece that shows a group of young people sometimes moving altogether and sometimes moving in canon, to create a musical experience that is fascinating to watch.
"Connect It" was composed especially for the BBC's "TEN PIECES."
Anna Meredith, like our previous composers Gustav Holst, Maurice Ravel and A.R. Rahman, has been recommended in the new Model Music Curriculum, as a composer to inspire children and adults alike.
We hope you enjoy this half-term's composer as much as we are!
