Black History Month - Poetry Workshop

As part of Black Histroy Month, the Year 5 children took part in a Zoom workshop hosted by Doncaster Stories. 

The children watched poets Abdullah Adekola and Karl Nova perform live, followed by participating in a Q&A session. They then took part in a poetry workshop before writing their own poems based on Black History Month, multiculturalism and diversity. 

We think the poems that the children produced are fantastic!
