STEM Visit at the Mansion House

On the 4th December, nine Year 5 and 6 children took part in a competition at the Mansion House. Their challenge was to design and make a shopping and culture complex. They made a full model using only foam, pipe cleaners, paper, coloured pens and little flags. Included in their design was a food court, shops, a park, play areas, banks, places of worship, a food bank, galleries, a swimming pool and spa. They then designed the environment around their buildings, which was a great added touch. The Lakeside Team came in joint second place and won £25 for school. Well done!
