Y2 went to explore the woodland area and recorded all of the minibeasts they found in a tally chart. They then presented the data in a bar graph and were able to ask and answer questions about it.

We used positional language to direct each other around a grid of bugs! We had to think about the size of the turn as well as how many steps our partner would need to take.
In our Muck, Mess and Mixtures topic, we accurately weighed and measured ingredients to make a healthy snack.
In our Towers, Tunnels and Turrets topic, the children build towers out of different objects to see which was the most sucessful. They had to measure them and record their data in a table before comparing them.
