Mr Cowie

Mr Cowie and Mrs Webb welcome you to Year 6RC.

We are thrilled to welcome youto your new Year Six class  6RC!

Our day starts at 8:30 and finishes at 3:00.

Pupils will be collected from the playground at 8:25.

Parents will need to bring pupils to school and collect them. If you would like your child to walk home on their own please complete the letter which has been sent home.

Pupils will need to be collected from the doors onto the key stage two playground if they are being picked up.

The only items pupils should bring to school are a coat, waterbottle and their packed lunch (if they have one).

Pupils will be going swimming every Friday, they should bring their swimming kit with them along with a towel in a bag.

All of class 6RC have been given their reading books. Please remember to read at least 3 times per week at home and sign reading records. Also, please remember to bring your reading records in each day so we can sign them at school too.

Our first topic is called Blood Heart. We will be learning how the human heart works, why blood is so important and how the circulatory system keeps us alive. Our class book will be Pig Heart Boy, a fascinating story about the choices a young man is faced with when he learns that his heart will not last much longer.

Keep checking back to this page regularly for class information or to view some of the work that we are doing in class.
