Parents Esafety meeting 7/3/2018

A big thank you to all our parents that attended the parents esafety workshop.

We were really pleased with the response.

I have attached the PowerPoint used in the session below for those parents that weren't able to make it to the meeting.

Mr Cowie

www.roblox.com

Roblox allows users to send and receive messages and images, which can potentially be upsetting or put pupils at risk.

We would advise that pupils use this website as a guest user or, if pupils do have an account, that you have a copy of their usernames and password. We recommend that you regularly check on pupils activity on Roblox if you do feel comfortable with them having a user account.

www.omegle.com

We strongly advise that pupils do not use www.omegle.com. It is an open chat platform that allows users to chat with and send messages to anyone.

This website does not monitor chats and users can easily mask their identity. We consider this website a serious risk if pupils do use it.
